FAQs
‘Do you pick the music?’… Yes we do. We pay to license music from several different sites. The most popular songs and chart music cannot be licensed at a reasonable price. We carefully choose music for your film that suit you as a couple and the tone of your day making your film unique to you.
‘How long will you be at the wedding for?’… We are there all day. From morning prep until the first few dances at least. If you have anything special planned for the evening like fireworks or a surprise performance and want it captured? we will be there!
‘When do you have a break?’… We never have a break. We do however rest while preparing our equipment for the next moment during our meals. This is a time that we use to eat, sort out our equipment and charge any equipment we may need to charge. But don’t worry, we are always on hand if you need us for anything.
‘Talking of meals, do you bring your own food?’… We wouldn’t be human if we didn’t have a snack stash, however we don’t bring our own meals and will require you to provide meals for us. From the moment we arrive we are focused solely on one thing… Capturing all the special moments throughout the day, so we wont have a chance to go anywhere to get anything hot unless provided.
‘When will we get our film(s)?’… Our general turn around time for films can vary from 12-28 weeks depending on the season. We aim to get them to you as soon as possible however we will not jeopardise the quality of anyone’s films by rushing them. We will keep in touch and let you know if there are going to be any delays.
‘How do you deliver our film(s)?’… We invest annually into ensuring your films remain online, safe and accessible forever! Your films will be uploaded onto a personalised and secured online platform. You will receive a link to this in your email with your own unique password. You will then be able to share this link with all your friends and family. You can also download your films to watch back in the highest resolution. We also upload some films and teasers onto our social media once you have viewed them, and these can also be shared from here.
‘How do you capture audio?’… We use high quality, discreet microphones to capture audio during the ceremony and the speeches. These are usually worn by the groom or bride and also by the celebrant. During the speeches we will ‘mic up’ any speech givers around 10 minutes before speeches start. It is important that you let us know who will be doing any readings during the ceremony or any speeches to allow us to be prepared to capture everything.
‘Is a deposit required to book?’… Yes. To secure your date, we require a deposit which will be detailed in your quote. Your balance is then due 6 weeks prior to your wedding date.
‘Are your travel fees included in the total price?’… Travel and accommodation fees will only be required if we are travelling out with our radius. We film from early in the morning and will be on our feet all day typically leaving your wedding late in the evening. The last thing we want is to drive for long periods of time after a belter of a wedding. This is usually anything over 1 and a half hours. We will be sure to have these broken down on your quote if they are required.
‘Can you recommend any other vendors?’… YES! We have been extremely fortunate to work with some very talented people within this industry. We have a list of recommendations of photographers to suit every style… we will even give you a cheeky wee discount for booking one of these guys! We can also give you recommendations on everything from DJs, bands, saxaphone players, pipers, venue dressers, bridal dressers and so much more! Just get in touch and we would be more than happy to help!
‘How many cameras do you film with?’… We capture your day using 3 or 4 cameras from multiple angles.
